My story….where I got a second chance at life, and how it led me to being here….

Several years ago, following a breakdown, I found myself  ~ quite unintentionally ~ being guided into the world of somatic practices. They became a lifeline. And what unfolded was a gentle yet profound transformation through Yoga Nidra Meditation, Breathwork, TFT and EFT tapping, and Loving-Kindness Meditation. The impact was so immediate and meaningful that, in each case, I knew I wanted to study them and eventually share them with others.

For me, these practices have become ~ and continue to be ~ as wonderful and vital as water and as important as trusted, compassionate companions. Quietly supportive. Deeply restorative. Never demanding belief, and always allowing me to be exactly as I am.

Through them, I discovered ways to move beyond lifelong trauma, anxiety, and the looping patterns of low self-worth that had once felt impossible to escape. And found myself being able to gently release trauma bonds and long-held ways of being that had repeatedly drawn me toward relationships and lifestyles that were not in my best interests.

What emerged instead was a calm inner wellspring ~ of clarity and beauty, inner wisdom and lightness, self-trust, and a peacefully joyful connection to my True Self, which continues to unfold. In that place, I came to see something essential: that I am inimitable. And so are you ~ beautifully, and celebratorily so.

Along the way, I’ve been deeply fortunate to meet many genuinely kind and loving people ~ wonderful souls whose presence has been a gift in itself. I also became aware that I was witnessing a quiet kind of magic: inner guidance rooted in peace, gentle outer synchronicities, and the growing sense of my inner landscape being reflected in my outer life. And with this came a deepening connection to all beings, and an unbidden flow of gratitude and appreciation.

Within this new world, my personal experience has included learning that letting go of unhelpful patterns can be a gentle, cyclical process ~ one that keeps us fresh and flowing ~ and liberated. And so I’ve come to welcome this as a form of emotional decluttering, as natural as cleansing and beautifying my home and sweeping away fallen leaves. Seeing too that just as in nature, the inner life sheds and rests, then buds and blooms again ~ this quiet aha moment ~ is now a consistent living reminder that we are nature, not separate from it, but woven into its rhythm, each with our own unique rhythm and pace. Releasing any need to rush.

Since then, it’s been both a joy and an honour to share these practices with others, and to witness the softenings, shifts, and sparks of self-discovery that naturally arise along their paths too.

Today, I’m immensely grateful to say that I have a vocation as a somatic practitioner, specialising in Thought Field Therapy (TFT) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) ~ more commonly known as tapping ~ alongside Breathwork and Yoga Nidra Meditation (also called NSDR, Non-Sleep Deep Rest). These modalities are both science-backed and heart-led. They’re also gently powerful; supporting emotional release, nervous system regulation, and the restoration of balance in body and mind, while opening space for reconnection with our deeper self and inner wisdom. They work biologically, energetically, and neurologically, and in harmony with our spirit ~ creating fertile ground for healing.
